The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS for Academic and General Training
 
 
 
 
  1. Participants: NKUHT students, maximum of 30 participants per class
  2. Registration: September 12 (Thur.), 2019 - September 19 (Thur.)
  3. Registration fee: This is a free course: you only need to pay for your textbook and teachers’ handouts (if applicable). If you already have textbook, you still need to pay the handouts fee.
  4. Registration methods:
  1. Please sign up for the class via online system first during the registration time. Registration link: https://selfstudy.nkuht.edu.tw:7777/subpage/ALLactivities1081.html
  2. Pay the textbook fee from September 23 (Mon.) to September 25 (Wed.) 16:00 P.M. in the Language Center (H102). Please submit the exact amount of money; no change can be given. If you do not pay the fees during this time, you still need to pay the handouts fee and you will have to buy the textbook by yourself.
  1. Notice:
  1. The courses will not meet during midterm exam week.
  2. The TOEIC Class is NOT the Remedial English Test-Prep Course.
  3. Students who ask to cancel their registration will be put on the Language Center blacklist and will not be allowed to register for Language Center activities/courses for the next two years.
  4. If you are on the Language Center blacklist, you may not join this activity.

Course rules
  • Attendance Rules: If you forget to sign in or sign out, leave class early or were signed by others, you will be considered absent.
  • Class Leave:
  • Except for sick, official and funeral leave (please provide the appropriate documentation), if you miss class 3 or more times, you will be put on the Language Center blacklist and will not be allowed to register for Language Center activities/courses for the next two years.   • Late to Class: If you are more than 15 minutes late to class, you will be marked absent. If you are less than 15 minutes late to class but you do not sign in, then you will be considered absent.
